At age 61, I am smarter and freer than I have ever been. I wake up each day still clothed in my right mind. For that I am grateful.
I feel loved and liked, occasionally tolerated, sometimes needed. I know that along the way I have helped somebody.
The key to unlocking happiness, I have learned, is a combination of sufficient sleep, water, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, a serving of meat daily, and some dairy; loving kindness and support; personal passion which leads to action; and physical exercise. My key does not always fit the lock.
I appreciate mystery and subtlety.
I am a seeker of knowledge; hence, I’m constantly researching, discovering, and learning.
People baffle, amuse, confound, and amaze me. I believe that tolerance and love and service in the cause of humanity must prevail if we are to survive.
I like myself–most days. I have no regrets. Why bother?
